ALL ABOUT THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS
Assessments are a collaborative process between the psychological professional, parents/guardians of the learner as well as their teachers and principal and other professionals such as medical professionals, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.

The assessment process begins with an intake interview between the psychometrist and the parents/guardians of the learner where the reason for referral, background information, informed consent and confidentiality, and the assessment process will be discussed. Next, the learner is assessed using a battery of tests that measure different domains of development and ability. The learner's test performance is then scored and a comprehensive report is compiled. Finally, the psychometrist will have a feedback session with the parents/guardians to discuss the findings and recommended support and intervention strategies. Please note that with Subject Choice and Career Guidance Assessments, the learners are included in the intake interview and feedback sessions.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment is due upon completion of the assessment in order to secure your feedback consultation. Payment for assessment services will be discussed prior to commencing the assessment.
